A section tells how to get started with a security plan, and another offers sample plans on various policies and procedures. Emergency Management Guide for Business & Industry is a step-by-step approach to emergency planning, response and recovery for manufacturers, corporate offices, retailers, utilities or any organization where a sizable number of people work. Published by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the 67-page guide [2.21 MB] is organized into four sections: (1) 4 steps in the planning process; (2) Emergency management considerations; (3) Hazard-specific information, and (4) Information sources. The guide provides advice on how to create and maintain a comprehensive emergency management program. Generic RMP Facility Security Evaluation is a two-page [124 KB] check list of issues that should be addressed in a security plan. It was published by the US EPA.
